UW IPE Path of Distinction Application
UW CIPE, in collaboration with our program/school partners, is pleased to announce the application for the UW IPE Path of Distinction Program (UW IPE PoD). The UW-Madison professional students, at any year in their program (as long as they are able to satisfy the requirements), in Genetic Counseling, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Public Health, Social Work, and Veterinary Medicine are eligible to apply.
The UW IPE PoD Program provides cross-professional students with opportunities to advance their IPE learning through didactics, experiential encounters (i.e. simulation), clinical/ community placements, research, and leadership opportunities that supplements their program-specific education. To receive the UW IPE PoD award at graduation, students need to complete and satisfy the program requirements by April 1 of the year of their graduation.
Applicants are required to complete the online application preferably before the end of the Fall semester. The application includes a 500-worcl personal statement (about IPE interest/experience, and the impact of the UW IPE PoD on professional growth), and resume/CV.
