On Monday, April 29, 2024, UW CIPE held the first IPE Awards Ceremony. At this event, we celebrated those who have achieved IPE recognition in the 2023-24 academic year, which includes UW IPE Path of Distinction Program (PoD) Graduates, Elaine Mischler MD IPE Scholarship Awardees, and Joint Teaching Academy and UW CIPE Distinguished IPE Fellows.

Elaine Mischler MD IPE Scholarship Awardees- Thank you Dr. Beth Fields for presenting this scholarship, and thank you Dr. Elaine Mischler, for your generous donation to support this scholarship as well as sharing your passion for IPE which drives the work of our awardees!
- 2023: Uzma Khan, MS, who is working towards a PhD in Rehabilitation Counselor Education. Uzma’s project aims to create an interprofessional learning experience around the topic of rehabilitation and climate change as it relates to persons with pre-existing disabilities and chronic conditions.
- 2023: Claudia Miller, a class of 2024 Nursing- TBSN & UW IPE PoD student, and Alankrit Shatadal, a class of 2026 Medicine and UW IPE PoD student. A team scholarship with a project that aims to integrate human-health wellness awareness and resources to the already existing WisCARES Clinic which is a community veterinary clinic for low income and homeless families.
