On Thursday, January 18, 2024, UW CIPE welcomed two students, Haden Hartwig and Sarah Kopp, in a UW Job Shadowing opportunity in collaboration with the UW School of Education. This job shadow opportunity was largely focused around the theme of healthcare administration and education. During this job shadow placement, Haden and Sarah were engaged with learning about UW CIPE and IPE; touring spaces that are often used for IPE learning events; a tour of the Clinical Teaching and Assessment Center with Kathleen Tissot; and worked through IPE student activities, all to give insight to the behind-the-scenes planning and rationale of IPE learning opportunities here at UW-Madison
During this Job Shadow placement, UW CIPE also had the pleasure to learn about both Haden and Sarah’s educational journeys and what they hope to pursue as future healthcare professionals.
