NINE US Medical schools, including UW-Madison, are participating in a pilot offering of Bridging Across Differences Toward Flourishing in collaboration with the Kern National Network (KNN). This FREE course contains six lessons, including modules such as “Cultivating Intellectual Humility” and “Exploring Worldviews.” Additionally, this curriculum integrates activities and peer-to-peer discussions in which learners can practice acquired skills with a conversation partner. The overall goal is to equip students, faculty and staff from all health/social sciences programs with the skills and tools to find strength in different perspectives and collectively work together to solve pressing challenges in the field.
This six-module course will take place starting December 2025 through March 2026. You will complete the online modules first, at your pace from December-February. In March, you will participate in at least one peer-to-peer discussion group to practice skills learned from the course. These discussion groups will be virtual.
