The Elaine Mischler, MD Interprofessional Scholars Program is a structured, scholarly experience designed for select graduate and professional students committed to advancing collaborative practice and education. This program provides an unparalleled opportunity to engage in a substantive, faculty-mentored project that develops, implements, and evaluates an innovative interprofessional clinical or community-based experience. The program’s core mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application by transforming a student-led initiative into a tangible and scholarly work, such as a curriculum, a community program, clinical experience, or a practice model.

Dr. Mischler has been a physician executive, clinician, teacher, author, speaker, and researcher in academic, community health organizations, health benefits administration and managed health care for over 30 years. She was professor of pediatrics at two medical Schools, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for 20 years, and the Medical College of Wisconsin for 3 years.
